Sound generator 2

-Broken Toaster Records (installation & performance), Gelderland (NL)
Broken Toaster Records is a performance art collective / fictional recordlabel from the Netherlands. Its members are Kasper van Moll, Jelle Slof and Ide André. Founded in 2015 in the basement of the ArtEZ School for the Arts in Arnhem (NL), Broken Toaster Records creates site specific performances and performative settings taking the concept of 'the band' as a starting point. Over the years it has produced more than fifty uniquely different performances or 'bands’ with different results, ranging from albums and field recordings to after-movies, live-streams and full flown installations. Due to its ambiguous nature, a BTR show might be stumbled upon while visiting the opening of a new gallery, a music festival or while walking past that creepy alleyway on your way home from your visit to your local grocery late at night. Do not fear though, we come in peace.

-Intige Taluure (live muziek), Vlaanderen (BE)
In de pers: “It’s a rare occasion to see Intige Taluure in concert and I didn’t know what to expect as Intige Taluure succeeds in always surprising the audience...Energetic, experimental al times and at a safe distance from commercial succes”  (United Mutations over de Poep de disco release op 27 maart jl).

-Rikkert Brok (geluid & beeld performance), Den Bosch (NL)
His project Optical Machines makes a pure, authentic impression in the way the machines create sounds and visuals. They choose an open set-up which invites the audience to their laboratory-like playground. The set-up contains an obscure variety of self-designed and constructed equipment to make a both hypnotic and fascinating show. Optical Machines create a real live show with visuals and sounds created on the spot.

-Sophie Monroy (expositie), Brussel (BE)
Sophie Monroy lives and works in Brussels. Sophie's paintings are about letting go and partying - they are so alive you can almost hear the music - as the bodies make love, embrace, intertwine and play.
This is a painting that talks, laughs and is ready to meet... anything that life brings in its way. And it does so with a contagious, breathtaking intensity.
She is also a member of the music group Rraouhhh!

Since 1987 Pieter Fengler and Koen Debaere have inconsistently pushed the boundaries of music into new and innovative territory by diversifying into different guises and created a template for ‘sample brockhause’. After a 15 year hiatus they are back and are working with drop of blood records.

-Olaf Bijnen (geluidsinstallatie), Dommelen (NL)
